Luminous Restaurant and Lounge - Exceptional Dining & First-Class Service in Chesapeake, VA

We had not only great food but a great experience because of our fabulous waitress Ray-Ray and Chef Oscar and Chef Ray. The service, food quality, and presentation was first class!! Our only negative experience was with the bartender on arrival, she was quick to say that they don't provide service outside on the patio. I asked her for menus to take outside and we would return to place an order once out party arrived, she seemed to pause and hesitate but RayRay walked up and handed me the menu's. We found patio seating outside. Once the rest of the party arrived, hubby went inside to try and order beverages from bar for everyone. RayRay went above and beyond to get a tray and proceeded to carry everything outside for us. Instead of making us have to come back inside she took our orders (which was large) and not only did she return with a serving cart carrying the food but the Chefs came out and assisted. We call this first class service that is not seen a lot these days so we were very appreciative. Delta these individuals are 5 star and represented your establishment well. The bartender not so much, she is in need of customer service training or something

I had the Steak and it was Cooked perfectly Medium. Also the rice and extra crispy fries were great. The pricing on the menu were also fair for what you get. Disney was an extremely friendly server. I will be going back before heading back home to New Mexico

I came here with friends of mine and the service is great atmosphere was great. Christa was our server and Megan was our bartender. They were both friendly, knowledgeable and professional Highly recommend this place 5 stars all the way.

The atmosphere in the bar/restaurant is very welcoming! The bartender, believe his name is Patrick (Pat) provided professional service and outstanding customer service. His presence is what you want more of in your establishment!

Rhiannon is an amazing bartender! Invititing, welcoming, and great conversation. Unfortunately, our burgers both came out overdone. Rhianna noticed, apologized, and had the manager come speak with us. Both were apologetic and asked if we wanted a new meal. It was late, we were done, so he comped the meal. Realistically, we would have rather had the burgers cooked correctly, but mistakes happened. They owned up to it and made it right. Thank you both! The service recovery was amazing!
